Common Church, we all come from challenges! Challenges qualify us to access relief from the body of Christ. I found relief through the answers and strategies Christ gave and continues to supply for oncoming stressors in this life and within myself. Psalms 46:1 says "God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble."
I wanna focus on the content of the song which gives the nations the antidote of relief to answer all ailments and problems faced by mankind. This antidote is Jesus Christ's Salvation. What is Salvation? I am so happy you asked. The Oxford dictionary states its "preservation or deliverance from harm, ruin or loss" now this is a secular meaning having to do nothing with theology. Or does it? Let's look at the theological meaning as per the Oxford dictionary, deliverance from sin and its consequences brought about by faith in Jesus Christ". Well if you ask me the break down of this definition shouldn't be broken down since someone or something has to do the preserving and deliverance from harm, ruin and loss. It makes no sense to stand alone. And in all honesty, I feel more confident if it were supernatural deliverance as I am not sure what disposition friends or family may be in on any given day when I need saving if you know what I mean. Salvation includes our blessings, our reputation and identity with God, all he has given us to empower us to live a winning life. So Jesus Christ's Salvation promise transforms us to be overcomers from the inside out. It allows us access to God as a refuge and protector, a guide, a corrector of behaviour, a provider, a battle fighter or should I just say lawyer, a confidence giver, an identity clarifier, a giver of peace that passes all human understanding....man the list goes on. The problems of this world simply can not afford a multiple-choice option, as the morale of Society seems to be moving further away from love and optimism.
The Businessman of the hour, Rhyan Lamarr. I am captivated by your directing here, leading us in the direction of the Holy Spirit by this song 'Relief', released early June 2020! Rhyan LaMarr has an amazing career testimony that has the handprint of God's favour all over it. He not only displays his talent rapping on this track, but he also is a Writer, Producer and Director of films! Oh for sure I will blog on one of his faith-filled movies in the near future. Rhyan was born and raised in Chicago, USA. He began writing at around the age of 10years old. He is a testament to the answers and opportunities God is willing to provide us when we seek out knowledge and experience towards being our best contribution to society. Whatever role you play right now, a student, a sales clerk, a nurse, a childcare provider, a mechanical service technician, a principal or a parent, for example, our good God invests in us all and expects us to invest right back into him so that his Kingdom can be here on earth as it is in heaven. It always starts with time and intention towards him. It's supposed to look like pure love seeking his Kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven. Pure love toward his purposes, ourselves and others! When we invest in God, "[he] causes everything to work together for our good," he continually chooses us and provides opportunities for us to flourish, Romans 8:28. The benefits of his Kingdom are immeasurable. Through Jesus, we have been "given right standing with [the Father]" and then are given the privilege of sharing his Glory to display to the whole world, Romans 8:30. (please note this scripture is paraphrased). How evident is this in Rhyan's life right now, as well as for all the other artists involved in this project. Everything they touch is prosperous.
Highlighting the many artists within this song would make this blog a mini-book. I will say that in time every single one of these talented young men will be featured on Remnant Tithers. They grace us with lyrics refined by God's fire like priceless pieces of jewelry, except no need for a big Jesus piece around their necks to display the faith. They are the Peace of Christ Jesus on display! Now I feel like I am ready to spit some golden bars! Shall I add another scripture here? OK Ok, I will wait till the end of the blog to give you more gold bars! These young men and the 'Abba Father' they represent make me feel rich, literally! Nobigdyl, Canon, John Givez, Byron Juaune, Jack Red, Kris Noel. Man, they were seriously having Churching! Can anyone taste the new wine! I sure can and the packaging is pleasing to the eye. These young men are overcomers of their own right, confidently and joyfully carving out righteous lanes in the music industry. To the Jonathans' (Godgiven helpers of the mission), Producer Mod-G, Editor, Chris Jamerson, Digital Artist Lisa Jones, Choreographer Free Boogie, and Pastor M.J. Fisher who ushers in the presence of the Holy Spirit at the beginning of the video, Wow! You all did the blessed thang!
This is a 'Kingdom Class' music video and message for the masses! I bet it was a joyful experience for all involved, even with the hard work it must have taken! Recognize the spirit of family love that always takes its mandatory place when our Heavenly Father is the focus of honour!
